My work connects project and site through clear technical choices, defined materials and samples that can be applied and replicated with precision by contractors.
Roberta
I have a background that allows me to develop renderings and technical visualisations starting from an initial idea, assessing light, materials and the spatial conditions.
From these pre-visualisations, I create physical samples in my laboratory: finishes, colours, textures and materials are faithfully reproduced to provide a concrete and applicable reference.
Each sample is accompanied by a dedicated technical sheet detailing materials, application cycles, quantities and operational methods.
This enables designers, contractors and craftspeople to replicate the result with precision and without uncertainty.
I create connections between designers and artisans, making the technical process—from material selection to on-site application—clear, linear and manageable, with attention to timing, quality and sustainability.
Vision
My vision is to make every choice — of materials, finishes and processes — clear, applicable and respectful of the space, of time and of its resources.

The Technical Laboratory
In Roberta Cangini’s technical laboratory, located in Via Solferino 9 in Forlì, I showcase a curated selection of material and colour samples: mineral finishes, textures, resins, micromortars, wallpapers, oxides and other technical surfaces.
In Roberta Cangini’s technical laboratory, located in Via Solferino 9 in Forlì, I showcase a curated selection of material and colour samples: mineral finishes, textures, resins, micromortars, wallpapers, oxides and other technical surfaces.
It is a space where designers, contractors and private clients can directly explore materials, colours and physical samples, assessing their visual quality, compatibility and application possibilities.
By appointment, it is possible to examine the samples in person, discuss material choices and define together the technical path best suited to the project.
